Anyone who has access to a computer with a camera, high-speed internet connection, a headset or ear buds and wants to learn, can enroll.
How can I enroll?
You can enroll by filling out the online application, you will be notified by Registrar of your acceptance.
How will I know that I have been accepted in a class?
You will receive notification of your acceptance within 3 to 5 days after you apply.
How much does it cost?
The tuition for each course is $100. Students who are enrolling in the two-year program will pay an additional fee.
How can I pay my tuition?
Once a student is enrolled and accepted into a course, tuition payment will be received by the instructor. Tuition payments has to be made before having access to the course in Moodle.
Do I have to live in a certain area of the country?
No. Enrollment is offered nationwide.
How often will the classes be taught?
The session lasts for 13 weeks, with frequency and length of class meetings to be determined by the instructor.
Is there an age or academic requirement?
Students are accepted at 18 years of age or with the recommendation from their pastor. The courses in the CH Mason Jurisdictional Institutes curriculum are designed for missionaries and ministers in the Church of God in Christ seeking ordination and licensure. However, these courses can be taken for personal enrichment and improving biblical knowledge without academic requirements.
Can I take all the courses in the curriculum online and receive my license or ordination in the Church of God in Christ?
Although the classes are all offered online, many of the students are enrolled at one of the Affiliated Jurisdictional Institute Sites. If you are not enrolled at a jurisdictional site, you will be assigned to a site so that you will have the guidance of a dean for your program of study. Ordination and licensure can only be granted by your Jurisdictional Bishop and your Jurisdictional Supervisor.
Are these courses authorized by the National Church?
Yes. The Charles Harrison Mason Jurisdictional Institutes was established in 1971 under the leadership of Dr. A.J. Hines as the Charles Harrison Mason System of Bible Colleges. It was renamed C.H. Mason Jurisdictional Institutes in 1995, with Dr. Martin Luther Johnson as leader. In 2002, with the establishment of All Saints Bible College in Memphis, Tennessee, CHMJI became a certificated program for men and women in the Church of God in Christ who are seeking ordination and licensure. The director, Dr. Goldie F. Wells, was appointed by Bishops G.E. Patterson and Charles E. Blake, Sr. to serve and in 2021, Dr. Herbert Davis was appointed by Bishop J. Drew Sheard to serve as the director.
Who will teach my class?
A cadre of highly educated, experienced, saved, sanctified and Holy Ghost filled instructors from across the country will deliver the instructional program.
How will I receive my grade?
You will be given assignments, quizzes, exercises, tests and a final exam to determine your grade. Your grade will be sent to your home jurisdictional site. If you do not have a site, you will be assigned a dean to offer you guidance. A copy of your grade will be sent to you.
Can women take the Pastoral Care course, and can men take the Women in Ministry course?
